Introduction

Some hints to understand the English version of our website

Our English isn't perfect - but we're working on it!

The English pages of our website are not a direct translation of the German
because we have just focused on the most important Speaker Kits, Drive Units
and DIY projects that we offer. These are not available anywhere else in the world.

We start with the STUDIO 100 TL and STUDIO 42 TL. Data on the other kit Designs will follow
as soon as possible (if still "under construction", please contact the German pages).

As we are the official distributor for Scan Speak in Germany and Austria, we do not offer single Scan Speak
drive units from the ordinary Scan Speak drive unit production program outside Germany and Austria.
There are official distributors for Scan Speak chassis in most of your countries, where you can buy the drive units
without expensive shipping cost. However, if you cannot get the drive units you want from your local
distributor, please don't hesitate to contact us.

In our D.I.Y. speaker kits we sometimes use drive units which are especially made for A.O.S.
These drive units are not available elsewhere. Should you wish to purchase these special drive
units you can order them directly from A.O.S. in Germany.

In our home country we offer complete speakers as well as speaker kits.
Additionally we offer electronic components (preamps, power amps and especially
developed electronic crossovers for some of our kits) as well.
These active components and complete speakers are not available for export
because we don't have suitable transport facilities.

All speaker-kits contain everything you need for building the speakers: drive units,
crossovers or crossover components (if components are supplied separately).
The kits contain all the damping material you need, terminals, cables for internal wiring, screws,
gaskets, construction plans for the cabinet, damping methods and comprehensive circuit diagrams.

Dealers for A.O.S. speaker kits:

We don't have regular dealers for A.O.S. speaker kits yet. Some of our customers are "A.O.S. listening points".
We have an agreement with these customers in specific regions to demonstrate their speakers
should you be interested to listen to them. Please see detailed information in the section entitled
"Listening and Demonstration points".
